The benefit of Hospice care is the focus on pain control, quality of life and peace for both patient and family. The goal of Hospice is to enhance quality of life by keeping patients as alert and comfortable as possible in a familiar environment surrounded by family and friends.

Who Is Eligible for Hospice Care?
A patient is eligible for Hospice if he or she has a life expectancy of six months or less and chooses to elect Hospice rather than curative treatments. The patient's eligibility must be certified by their physician and the Hospice medical director.

Our Services
Our hospice care team develops a plan of care that changes with your needs and includes the following services:
- Pain and symptom management in your home or an extended care facility
- Personal care visits
- Continuous care, if needed, for symptom management
- Inpatient care for symptom control or respite stay to assist primary caregiver
- Spritual and emotional support for you and your family and friends
- Medical supplies and equipment and medication related to your hospice diagnosis
- Grief counseling
